SeniorLivingStars.com, a DBA of ioVentures, Inc. ("we," "us"), helps assisted living and memory care communities earn more Google reviews. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it. We have tried to write it the way we write everything: in plain language.
This website is informational. It has no account system and sets no advertising cookies. Like most websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses and browser information, for security and performance. We do not use that data to identify visitors.
If you call, text, or email us to request a free Reputation Scorecard or ask about our service, we collect what you give us: your name, phone number, email address, and your community's name. We use it to respond to you, prepare your scorecard, and follow up about our service. We do not sell it or share it with anyone outside the tools we use to run the business.
Reputation Scorecards are built from publicly available information: Google Business Profile ratings, review counts, and review dates for your community and nearby communities. We do not access any private business data to build them.
When we send you a scorecard link, we count how many times the report page is opened so we know whether it reached you. We do not track who opened it or collect personal information from report viewers.
When a community becomes a client, they may share family contact information (names, emails, phone numbers) so we can send gentle review reminders on their behalf. For that information:
Tap fobs and displays in our Family Review Tap Kit link directly to a community's public Google review page. We count taps per fob so the community can see what's working. Tapping does not collect any personal information from the person who taps.
We run the business on a small set of service providers, and information may pass through them as part of normal operation: Cloudflare (website and report hosting), Google (email, fonts, and public business profile data), and our customer relationship and email tools. Each handles data under its own privacy policy.
We keep contact information for as long as we have a business relationship with you or a reasonable prospect of one. If you ask us to delete your information, we will, unless we need it to meet a legal obligation.
You can ask us at any time what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email seth@seniorlivingstars.com and you will hear back from a person, usually the same day.
This website and our services are for businesses. They are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
If we change this policy, we will update it here and change the date at the top. Material changes affecting client data will be communicated directly to clients.
