Families Are Choosing Other Communities Before They Ever Call You.

Senior Living Stars installs a done-for-you review system built only for assisted living and memory care. Your happiest families become a steady stream of 5-star Google reviews. More tours choose you over the community down the road.

The Real Problem

Why Families Are Picking the Community Down the Road

When an adult child starts looking for assisted living or memory care, they don't call first. They search Google. What they see in those first 30 seconds decides who gets a tour.

1
Adult children start on Google. If your profile doesn't look like the safe choice, you're not in the top three they tour. They move on before you ever get a chance.
2
One old 1-star review quietly drains your tours.A single emotional review from months ago can sit at the top of your profile and kill a family's confidence before they set foot in your building.
3
More reviews wins, even when your care is better.Families can't see care quality online. They can only see stars. That comparison is happening whether you watch it or not.

How It Works

Simple for Your Team. Powerful for Your Census.

Three pieces, installed for you. Your team's only new habit is a three-second ask in moments that already happen.

1
Your Free Reputation Scorecard
We start with a diagnosis. Your rating, your review count, how fresh your profile looks, and how you stack up against every competitor near you. You see exactly where you stand before we talk about anything else.
2
Family Review Tap Kit, Included
We ship tap fobs, cards, and displays that tell families exactly what to do: tap your phone to leave a review. They tap and land on your Google review page. No login. No link to find. Just a tap.
3
Follow-Up and Plain-English Reporting
Gentle reminders go to families who agreed to leave a review. Every month you get a simple report: taps by team member, new reviews, and rating movement. No jargon.

The Family Review Tap Kit

Lives on Their Keychain. Works in Three Seconds.

The tap fob looks just like a building access fob, because that's exactly where it lives. Your staff already carry their keys everywhere. When a family moment happens, the fob is right there. Hold it out, let them tap, and your review page opens on their phone. And it's not one-size-fits-all: a keychain fob, a wallet card, or a clip-on badge reel. We match the format to whatever each person will actually carry.

The moments where families are ready to say something good
  • After a positive family visit or care conference
  • After a smooth move-in, in the first 7 to 10 days
  • After a family says thank you in the hallway
  • After you fix something they were worried about

Who's Behind This

Built by Seth Norwood, Out of Utah County.

I'm not a senior living veteran. I'm a reputation systems builder who chose this industry for one reason. The gap between the care good communities give and how they look online is bigger here than almost anywhere else.

That gap costs good operators tours they deserve. A community doing exceptional work can sit at 3.9 on Google while the competitor down the road coasts at 4.7 with 140 reviews. That's not a reflection of care quality. It's a systems problem.

Senior Living Stars closes that gap. Not with software you have to manage, but with a done-for-you system built around the moments that already happen in your building.

You'll talk with me directly. I only work with senior living communities.
Why Past Attempts Failed

You've Tried to Fix This. Here's Why It Didn't Stick.

Most EDs have already tried to get more reviews. The problem was never effort. It was the approach.

🗣️

Staff verbal reminders

You asked your team to mention reviews. Staff felt awkward, forgot, or had no natural moment to bring it up. Nothing got tracked. Nothing changed.

📱

QR codes in the lobby

Signs went up. Nobody scanned them. The moment passed before it was ever captured.

💻

Podium, Birdeye, or whatever corporate picked

Software needs someone to own it. Nobody did, and it quietly died within 60 days. There's no dashboard here. The system runs whether or not anyone checks it.

🔄

Generic review tools

Tools built for restaurants and dental offices don't know your world. They don't know what a care conference is, or when to ask, or how.

Families in senior living do leave reviews. You just haven't caught them at the right moment yet.
The Math Is Simple

One Extra Move-In Pays for This for the Entire Year.

One resident generates $36,000 to $84,000 a year. One empty room costs $3,000 to $7,000 every month it sits empty. The math isn't the hard part. The reviews are. That's our job.

Common Questions

What EDs Ask Before Getting Started

We already use Podium or Birdeye. How is this different?+
Most platforms are software that someone on your team has to own and manage. When that person gets busy, it quietly dies. Senior Living Stars is a behavior system, not a platform. We find the right moments, train your staff, provide the Tap Kit, and run the follow-up. There's no dashboard to log into. And if corporate requires a platform, this layers on top. It doesn't replace anything.
We've tried things like this before and it didn't work.+
That's the most common thing I hear, and the most important one to answer honestly. What didn't work was almost always a tool that asked your staff to change their behavior without giving them the right moment or the right method. Asking a family to leave a review feels awkward. Holding out a fob after a real thank-you doesn't. This method has produced 30 to 60 new reviews per 90 days for service businesses outside senior living. I'm now bringing it to the industry where the gap is biggest.
Will this add work for my clinical or sales staff?+
A little, and we keep it tiny. Two things, honestly stated. First, staff hold out a fob after a genuine thank-you. That takes about three seconds, in a moment that's already happening, and the kit includes short scripts so nobody has to improvise. Second, at setup one person shares the family contact list so follow-up can run. If you'd rather not share contact lists, the Tap Kit works without them. No dashboards, no logging, no tracking. We handle everything else.
Is this compliant with HIPAA and senior living privacy rules?+
Yes. We only contact family members who opted in. We never collect or touch resident health information. The system runs on family contact info, not resident records. And we never filter who gets asked based on how happy they are, which keeps everything inside Google's review rules. I'll walk you through exactly how it works before you start.
What happens if we get a negative review?+
We help you respond quickly and professionally. More importantly, volume is your best protection. When your profile has 15 reviews, one 1-star can dominate your rating. When you have 80, that same review becomes a footnote. The goal is to make your online reputation match the real one your families experience every day.
